This is my AWARD WINNING Chili from the 2018 O’Fallon YMCA cook off! In all seriousness, it’s a really great chili recipe. A little bit of tang without a whole lot of heat. And turns out, so many people like it because it doesn’t have any beans (thank you, Whole30!).
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 lb ground chuck beef
- 5 slices of bacon (look for brands without sugar to stay Whole30 compliant)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 carrots, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 ribs of celery, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, finely diced
- 1/2 can of pumpkin purée (not pumpkin pie filling!)
