Hi! My name is Annie and to be quite honest, it’s kind of amazing that I have a food blog! For years, I was a self-professed “bad cook” who specialized in opening a bunch of cans of cream-of-something and dumping them into a casserole dish. Viola!

Fast-forward a few years and I learned about the Whole30. I did one round in 2017 in a quest to lose weight from my third child and I was hooked! I felt so much better when I was eating whole and nutritious foods. At the same time, I also learned more about cooking different dishes and using a variety of culinary techniques. To date, I’ve completed a handful of rounds of the Whole30 (and failed to complete a few, as well!). I don’t eat Whole30 all of the time, but I do tend to resort to many of these recipes on a day-to-day basis because they are delicious and nutritious.

When I’m not cooking or tending to my blog, I’ve got a lot of other things that keep me hopping! I’m a mom to three kids, 12 and under. I also work full-time for an amazing nonprofit organization. And finally, I love to run and will be training for my second marathon in fall of 2020!
